Early Show:
Summer Lost
8:30pm
After meeting in a basement during
the summer of 2003, classmates of
different temperaments, talents and
convictions came together to form
The Standards jazz combo in
Stamford, CT. Our group got its
start playing private parties and
local functions by reference and
word of mouth. We began performing
modified classic jazz tunes to
produce a one of a kind sound. Our
unique twist on timeless songs fuses
swing, blues, rock, funk and hip-hop
into a style of our own. As years
passed, members came and went and we
now have a cohesive team of
musicians capable of moving onto
bigger and better things.
Project Blue Book
7:30pm
Project Blue Book is a rock band in
the lineage of touring bands such as
My Morning Jacket, Widespread Panic,
Phish, and The Grateful Dead. We
began playing together in the summer
of 2006.
We aim to inspire and entertain live
audiences all over the land, and
especially in our favorite rock 'n
roll towns ...
